For the life of me I can't get an efficient build with this combo, but if anyone has any exceptions that they have tried, I would appreciate it. Seems that Hammers require either energy or an Elite and AoD takes away both.

Currently using death charge and Recall, but that is brutal on the bar.

No way that would work, or at least it would be hard. Hammer wars NEED their elite, otherwise they're limited to basically only bash and energy follow-ups. I would suggest using either death's charge OR recall. By themselves both are decent when used well. (watch the second game IIRC of the finals for some awesome recall warrior use)

Yeah that is basically what I figured. The flexiblity of getting both in and out is nice, especially on a few of the maps. Guess you can't win them all.

I think Deaths Charge is the only really viable Assassin skill to use on a Hammer Warrior. The cost of maintaining Recall is not a huge deal if you only have it up to spike, but the initial cost is a big hit on your bar that you have to regen. I could see a Recall Sword or maybe Axe Warrior, and possibly an AoD Sword Warrior, but that's about it.

Recall Axe warrior is great, I've given it a try.. its basically the exact same build as a shock warrior but replace shock with recall

You can only really use AoD with swords because they can still be effective without an elite. Hammers are good but as said before ya need backbreaker (or devastating hammer) for them to be proper good, same with axe and eviscerate.

Recall was my first experience of shadow stepping, and teleporting to the other end of the main instantly. Intensely fun, but I think shadow stepping got nerfed a bit so it has limited range now so I duno how good it would be.

meby you should try shadow of hast its hard to time your in and out but you move faster and your energy regen isn't -1

any how i have a love hate relationship with that skill , there times i just needed to strike one more time to kill and i tele out

those arent the only shadow stepping skills, there are other skills that can get you out of a fight like viper's defence or return

If you wanna spike with AoD why not just have an assassin run it and recall to him? There's no real advantage to AoD unless it's for a suprise spike and recalling to your assassin could work just as well.
